BJT was founded in 1977 and competes in the top youth league in the country, the Eastern Hockey Federation that was formed in 2004 with the top teams from the Metro Boston Hockey League branching off. Since its inception, the Jr Terriers have won numerous league and state titles, along with having competed at the national level for national championships. Today the BJT youth have over 50 teams from mite level up through U18. Currently, in the 7 levels below U14 on the elite levels, the BJT has 5 teams ranked in the top 10 teams in the country.
On top of the (U14/U15 freshman team), (U16 JV team), (U18 varsity team), the coaches within the BJT network include over one-hundred coaches, all having played/coached, college or professional hockey. All of these coaches will be available for all our academy players to call on if needed.
